Hotrodladycrusr headed for the BIG TIME

Looks like Denise may break into the Magazine business next. She was given photo credit for the pics in the new Rod and Custom of the HAMB Drags.

Page 12 shows us acouple of action shots of the HAMB Drags and our own Betnik is front and center. Way to go Gus.

Ryan and his wife get mentioned as well. No pic of Ryan though

Just wanted to congratulate Denise for a job well done, and look for more to come from her. The editors are happy when someone will take the time to cover the small but significant events that they can't get to.

Look for pics of the Pileup and possably Billet proof Detroit in the future.

There had to be some cookies involved somewhere

 

Way to go Denise. I bet most people don't realize how much thought goes into great pictures. (like trying to keep the humans out)

I'm stayin' REAL far from Denise at any events in the future...her camera always manages to catch me in a drunken stagger or a fur coat!!!

(Of course, that ain't hard to believe, is it?! )

My wife decided when we came down for our geezer retreat that all our mail would be forwarded to her sister and she would sift through that and then send the important stuff to us or pay bills etc.(a looooong story). Well, unbeknowst to me, all my mag subs are being held in Rochester waiting for me when I get back home in the spring!!! Aaaaaaaargh! In the interim, I'm just going to have to find a copy of R & C so I can see for myself. Again, good for you Denise.

For those of you interested in captions for the two cars in the photos:

Top right- Here's 40 Stude Dude (HAMB alias, from ColoRODo) going up against a flamed Cadillac also out of ColoRODo...the Stude killed all the mosquitos for everyone that nite by dumping ****** fluid on the exhaust pipes.

Lower left: Beatnik (HAMB alias, out of Detroit) hazes the tires as he leaves on another 14 second quarter mile run.

One you don't have yet. It's March 2005 issue. It has a sweet*** looking blue 5-window thats "period perfect". I saw the little beauty at the GG Columbus show in July. Had a crowd around it all day.
