I worked with a guy, a heavy smoker and had a HA at work, he went and got a set of stents installed. Well... he started smoking again, his BP had to be through the roof, he was very red in the face. About 5 years after the 1st set, he needed another, forget how many. This time they went in through his ARM... damn...

rehab is interesting and good for your future;...after mine, I started riding my bicycle 5-10 miles a day;...
...now I feel like something is missing if I can't ride due to the weather or some other appt.
    good luck.

@HOTRODPRIMER sorry to hear about your recent health scare. It's things like this that sometimes make us realize how fragile life can be. I don't frequent this site as much as I used to, but your posts have always been at the top of my list to check out.
    Take care and God bless,

The cardiac rehab for me worked well. My heart doctor did have me walking a mile per day about 6 or 7 weeks after surgery. I would walk down by the fishing boats for the most part. Like I said earlier, I had a SNAFU with Cigna and my rehab started a month later than it should have. On nasty days, I'd hit the gym and do the treadmill thing. I had an old fashioned stress test done in late November and did well with it. My bypass was done on October 1st.
