See if there's an option for Doc to install a Snap-On torque wrench adapter, maybe 0-150 ft/lbs, a calibrated shoulder would be mighty handy.

Any shoulder surgery is rough. I had hurt my shoulder in a weight lifting incident late in 2010. Years of wear and tear were no help either. I went pre-hab with mine since I was supposed to have surgery on it. No surgery so far, but the better shape you're in before means a better recovery. I was told they'd have me in PT 2 days after surgery.
