I like the rears on this roadster... but can't tell if they are body or axle mounted. Any more pix, @kool 52?

 

No LB I have not, it has a stock firewall in it so there is a lot more leg room than mine. Also I wonder how many times he burnt his leg on those headers, ouch! They do make a fun street car.

Thanx, I'm guessing these fenders are axle mounted, with brackets either on the tube ends or backing plates. I had plans to use axle mounted brackets on my avatar truck at one time, so it already has the mounting ears, but haven't gotten around to it yet after 10 + years. One day...

Wow, Those are some different examples! I like the Chrisman/Gillis fenderlets (?), but I think Barris had his guys attach them so as not to turn with the front wheels, so your Photoshop versions would have to turn. Anyways, thanks. It's good to see what else has been done.

...A Hambers former ride when he found it...a Shadow of it's former self...but still quite capable of getting a reaction in the pants so to speak...

He did fixer up but fenders were not part of the rebirth...lifes like that...at least it was saved...
