been on here for a little while now and have worked out how to post pics...but gotta admit...
getting an avatar up has me beat....can someone tell me how to put one up or where to go for instructions if the info is already there....thanks for any help from a pc dummy

Yeah seems to be a lot of us with the same one.

 

Hover over the icon in the upper right, head and shoulders. A window comes up, scroll down and click on where it says avatar, then select a picture.

 

I'll try. Towards the top, under the Red bar with things like Events, Store you see 6 things, not sure what to call them. They look sort of like the bottom of a tie with figures on them. Towards the right side is one with a that looks like a head and shoulders silhouette. Hover over that with your cursor. Go down to Personal Details and click on it. You will see Avatar there. Click on it like it says and Browse for the picture that you want. You may have to try resizing it a few times. Or if when you have that open you can scroll down and you will also see Avatar. Click on Avatar and it will open up.

Not that hard to do but hard for me to explain!!

3rd grader? don't need a kid that old.

 

My 3 year old grandson can get around pretty well on an iPhone! And has been able to for a while.

 

...........................I think they call that particular icon, "Oscar", because of it's resemblance to the little Oscar statue they give to actors out there in Hollyweird.

somewhere there is a size ( like 160 x 160 pixels ). You can go to

In that program you can resize any photo down to the correct size for avatars..............not too tough
