    The swap meet was ass.
Damn there were a lot of cars to see.

We about 6 hours there today. 2 of which at the auction.

It was cool meeting a few more HAMBers.

We got to get a Houston meet and greet together on a weekend.

Smitty, did you see the barn find roadster of Steves[Jefe's]? That was worth the high price of admission itself. Cool story. Good to see all of you. Tell Jay I'm going to hold him to the driveway painting. Robbies car looked great! later TP

  5. Yes I did see the "Waco Kid" roadster. What a great find! Jason says just let him know when your ready for paint. It was great to see you and hotdog bob as always--you guys take care.

Decent show, you know I have a soft spot for those '70's Datsun Z-cars (SARCASM).

Was awesome to put a face with a name Smitty. Thanks for letting me sign the PIN. Guess I missed a bunch of you guys but saw your sigs. TP, wish I'd caught up to ya again. TXRat as well, since you made that trek from Beaumont.

I took the wife, and you have to know she is the liberal left when it comes to cars. So a small win for me to get her there. She loved the Heros truck since she's seen the emails, thought it was cool but a big marketing deal/ploy to sell t-shirts to see the OCC bikes in person. As well as being able to see the Lance Armstrong Overhauling car since she's seen it on TV. I even got some brownie points for paying for 3 metal crosses she found over in the "SWAP" area.

    CAN'T WAIT FOR ROUNDUP!!!!

    Just flew back from the show and just let me say;

YOU GUYS ROCK! The Krusty Kustoms display was one of the Koolest things there.

Thanks for making the very first "Ol Skool Rodz/Custom Kulture" display a success. The TIKI Hut was schweeet and all 7 of your cars were cool too. Gotta love the response from the spectators. Nothing like watching people walk right past the $100,000 rods to see what was going on back there.

A big THANKS for participating and lets get that DALLAS thing going!

BTW...that Waco Kid 29 was absolutely incredible. Got to see him drive it out and we just stopped and watched in awe.

Hats offf to all of you who spent time with the Pinstripe Auction. I got out-bid in the "Live" auction for the stuff I wrote out bids for. Had to work the John and Ashley Force stage so I couldn't get back for the live portion, Dammit!

It was a great show and now I cant wait for the next one.

  10. The Pinstripe Auction was cool, I bought some neat stuff. I got out bid on the Rat Fink trash can and frig and the Barris stuff though. The money all goes to charity(Sunshine Kids) so it is for a good cause! I had a ball biddings on stuff, but I bet I bring a stack of cash for the next one.

I think the show was a success and the GRB will make a good new home.Thank you Bob for all your hard work. We had a great time as always and we will see you in Dallas.

Pinstripe auction? Barris?? Batmobile?? Monster Coach?? HOW DID I MISS ALL THAT ? I was there for 3.5 hours. I must of missed a section. Have to say, I have never met any of you, but the Krusty Kustom set up looked like a bunch of fun peeps. Picked up the "Bylaws" and read them when I got home. That was some funny shit.

All in all, there were some nice cars there. But is it me or is it not as good as it used to be?? It seemed half the size, the swap meet was a joke and the auction didn't have many buyers show up. Hey, on the bright side, I did pick up a DISCO BALL for my game room!

sorry, my first post after being a lurker for long time.
