Not sure how or where to even ask this. Got a new computer, went with a Chromebook for my laptop. I like it a lot except I can't "hover" over a cryptic title on an individual post to see if it's something I wanna read. This slows me down, and Lord knows it can be hard to keep up with the HAMB every day. I looked around for some kind of preference button.
Hello, If you mean when you move your mouse over the title on the HAMB page with topics? All I did was to move the mouse over the printed title and it enlarged to give a show about what is in the question. So, if that is the case, you might want to check out the settings of the mouse or pointer on your Chromebook laptop for the specifics. Sometimes, it is set too light and nothing happens. Other times a new laptop has factory settings that don't always agree with the user/buyer. So, the settings tab is to do some research. The Chromebook is a nice little laptop. It is slightly different than a normal laptop connected to Apple or Windows programs. A lot of schools use Chromebooks. But, for most, it has its limits. Hardcore photo and video editing. Even if you use the in-built tools, photo and video editing are simple with Windows and Macs. ... Multi-tasking. Another area where Chromebooks fall short of Windows or Macs is multitasking. ... Hardcore Gaming. ... Offline productive capabilities. The Chromebook is almost too easy to use, but does have its drawbacks. I have tried to use my wife's Chromebook 13" version and it is nicely made. But for me, limited in scope. I do not play games, nor does my wife. But, she does browse the daily news websites. It is simple and easy to use. But, we had to go into the settings to set it up for her style of browsing. It is not like an Alienware/Dell laptop with all of the bells and whistles. It is a simple computer. She has her own powerful desktop computer in the office, with a large 27 inch monitor. That is where she does most of her web searching. Powerful, fast and has plenty of programs to clean and protect her searching. Her Chromebook is to use when she is elsewhere and needs a quick glance at a definition or information needed. It is not a sit down and do some heavy researching crawl or multiple open weh sites for information on a topic or two. Jnaki If her powerful desktop computer goes on the blink, then she wants a large 16-17 inch powerful laptop to carry around in the house and not be locked into going into the office all of the time. So, that is what the future is going to desire. The regular laptops are heavier than most Chromebooks due to the inner electronic circuits and mechanics. The Chromebook works but is not full size, everyday search and develop multiple search locations. She likes her Chromebook, but after seeing my 17 inch Alienware laptop, despite being heavier, that is the next target down the line. YRMV
Thanks, guys. Sounds like it is probably in my computer settings. I'll search around. The hover does work at Ford Barn.
