Art & Inspiration How about a 1957-1958 Ford thread?

The mirrors are inside-mounted to the visor arms. Keeps the outside clean. I adapted spots mirrors. They give a wide angle view and no blind spots.

 

Father's Day in the Park, Mission City British Columbia.

 

I bid on this local 57 Ford Sunliner 8,000 mile 100% original car last weekend. I had met the owner and sat in the driver seat of this car in 1978 since then I pursued this car for 41 years. I was privileged to have known the history of this car from the original owner that had passed away last year. He was a stickler when it came to this car and would never sell it until his health got bad and he priced it 150K. It never sold, then this past week it took 60K dollar bid to win the car and was shipped to North Carolina and will most likley end up in a private collection tucked away until another auction. I sure hope the next owner cherishes it as much as Bernie did.

57 with a 58 front clip?

 

I'd guess just the '58 headlights. Grill surround and hood are definitely '57 pieces.

 

Its all '57 except the custom dual headlights. They used to be available but not sure now.

 

He sure messed up on the power train.
