What a great thread. Here is my contribution.

It looks like a barn, but it's actually an exhibit at the Oakland Roadster Show back in about 1990. I drug this old '30 on '32 rails off of Catalina Island just in time to put into the show. I was a late entry, so I ended up under the stairs between the halls at the Coliseum. I was there before the show opened, as I was involved in the setup, and I caught some tall dude taking a picture while crouching under a black drape behind an old camera. I ask him what he thought about that old roadster. That, said Pat Ganahl, is the coolest hot rod in the show !!

Truly barns and old cars are incredibly complimentary...

What a beauty...389, 421...those wheels are factory Hotrod really...sometimes there is nothing to do...they just got things so right...perhaps all that was needed was a minor stance adjustment if any at all...

Dan go back in and edit your post an select Full Image in options...its well worthy of it...
