how about a chat/social room similar to the one on thesamba vw site ,(in the corner it says ajax chat), is/was fun thing to do when your board and met alot of people i call friends on there .just car guys chewin the fat and hanging out (albeit vw guys), never had any problems there (10+ yrs) and technical questions get referred to the forums as it is a social room, just a suggestion , fabricator john miss you dad
Not sure Web owner Ryan is going that route. With 250,000 - 300,000 plus members would be pretty spendy if everyone jumped on for a live chat.

the one i visit is normally 3-4 people at a time most ive seen is about 10 management handles any ruffians via blocked and used to hand regulars mod rights but none in a long time . its a good way to just hang out with like minded people "hey man what ya buildin" etc,, i enjoy it its entertaining when your board,, fabricator john
We tried it on the '54 Ford Club of America I can second what Cob said, it is a cost that would be prohibitive on a site this large. HRP
