Hot Rods How about a hotrod leatherback thread

Ya just dont see many Leatherbacks hot rodded out. Well, there out there but are sportin steel tops now. I need some inspiration, whos got a leatherback out there?

I have the opportunity to bring this home. Not 100% sure what direction to go yet. Im a welder by trade, not a carpenter, nor a seamster. But i think a chopped leatherback would be******in.

 

So I guess both Fordors and Coupes are OK?

Hillbilly, I think you're absolutely right. The blindback/leatherback Model A Fordors are, in my view, much better looking than the Fordors with quarter windows. I've seen a couple that were hot rods, but I don't think I've ever seen one chopped. Do it!

 

You have this thread labelled under art & inspiration, might be better under hotrods.

 

Im looking for some inspiration, so i thought this would suit. I'll change it, maybe then we could get some new pics here.
