Got this 37 Buick wheel. One of these days I'll figure out how to cast a new rim. The rim is rusty and pitted. I think it would be cool if the rust could be removed but leave the pitted appearance. Then gold plate it and cast it in clear resin. The core would show through with a gold nugget appearance.

Uncommon & not necessarily cool but different:
Not sure what year, but I think an early to mid fifties Chrysler banjo style. I've got the center cap in a box someplace in my shop.

Plain old impala wheel. I think it's a 62 or 63? I rattle canned it with duplicolor metalflake on the cheap.

1946-48 Ford deluxe wheel with a two-tone paint job and stainless bands. Best of all, it's for sale. Check cl***ifieds.

(ok, shameless plug, but it's a nice wheel)

Crestliner wheels are never boring! I was hoping someone would post one. They're cool--especially the ones made out of soybeans or whatever. Those are my favorite.

I've got one with the same style cutouts only more like rootbeer in color. I thought it was a Covico wheel. What's the diff. between Cragar and Covico.

....and don't tell me "ragar and ovico"....

    Great wheels BTW

If it's not Triumph it may be Austin Healey. Cool though!

I have no idea, but my wheel has a little Cragar decal on the back and I've seen the ad in an old Cragar catalog I have. It's possible that they are exactly alike but were sold under different names.

The 1957 Plymouth wheel with Benrus steering wheel clock installed

and the 1942 Desoto steering wheel with a cigarette dispenser built in. Gotta have a lucky strike while you are driving? pull down on the knob and let go and the cig pops out the top of the wheel.

The VW Banjo wheel with Benrus clock.

You have to consider the 51-52 Oldsmobile wheel with the built in Maar clock.
