    When I bought my Stude truck many years ago, in the 1980s, with many hacked holes in the dash, I took the easy way out and cut a few oak boards on my mill to cover the hacks.
    Sprayed a little Ford interior tan enamel on the metal.
    I used stain and regular urethane varnish from the lumber yard over the oak boards.
    That was long ago. I have been happy enough with that, so I haven't improved it at all over these many years. Still functioning quite well :)

    WHY BE ORDINARY ?

  7. This is the best I have right now. If it ever warms back up, to say somewhere above 30, I'll take more.

  8. Here is a pic of my cousin's 32 Ford roadster circa 1966 and me striping it. The car still exists and belongs to the son of the original builder who started it in the late 1940's and drove it to Bonneville in 1951 from M***achusetts where it turned 121 mph.
