Nailhead with trumpets, polished flat spoke Americans, round tube chassis, heavily molded body with good paint and striping.
Lots of time and effort in that one.
Ford radiator shell, but not a T body? Seems even shorter windshield to rear and the cowl (with vent) is a bit different, plus the transition from cowl to body below the windshield is smoother.

  7. That was a tall T coupe that was cut and hacked. A bit. My brain stem isn't working right now to remember whose it was, but I know it was in a Hot Rod Annual back in the mid-'60s.

  18. I don't know when it was painted this way, but I remember seeing it at Andy's picnic back in the 70's looking just like this. I'm pretty sure it stayed this way until it was restored back to the AMBR version. There's a thread posted by HEMI32 on the restoration by Brizio's, and some history that I believe has some time line about the car. I really like this version too.

  23. Why go to all the trouble of removing them AND sealing up the doors only to need to undo all that if you wanted to change the exhausts at a future point. Makes it look like its not Fibreglass. JW
