Not sure this can be classified as a traditional T Bucket but certainly in the same family and cool. Have no details just saw the pic! IMG_3482.jpeg

Question for those who have actually changed the windshield angles on one of these.
    The picture @40ragtopdown just posted
    [IMG]
shows the Red one with a body rake and frame rake, while the Gold one behind is sporting a milder frame rake, pretty much just the tires (AKA rubber rake).
My new project has a pretty strong 8 degree rake between engine and frame, with windshield posts leaned back a bit like the Red one. The silvery one to the left also is fairly 'flat, but leaned back posts.
The Gold one has straight up posts, which causes it to lean forward with the total rake.
Question is, what kind of windshield rake did you have and change to and how did it affect the wind?

  20. I didn't post this image I scanned (today!) over here because it was from 1967 - just a touch off of the HAMB period. Facebook groups seem to have more latitude for such things. I also posted it on the Off Topic forum.

BTW, this is Canadian John Greer's T as featured in the Spring, 1967 issue of 1001 Custom & Rod Ideas magazine.

  21. If that pic was taken in 67, that means we can't take pics of our cars now and post them on here. JW

if it helps it is my sincere opinion that while the photo may have been taken in '67 the car is undoubtedly an early '60s build. consider the proportions (long bed, short front) and other chassis details. those wheels date to the early '60s for example, etc...

And that "Fad Tee" style is 50-60 years old now (and I still love it)

But it probably does make the young lovely in the pikky somebody's retired grandma now.

  26. All right, you smart asses. I've been on this site for 20 years and gotten a lot of grief for posting 1967-vintage images because the style was important, not when the image was taken (@26 Ford RPU). And when you self-important jackasses get all upitty about some off the wall issue, then I'm out and you can find your own damn magazines to scan, edit, resize and post. Don't post any stupid comments after me because you're yelling into the wind.

  27. I wasn't being upitty or what ever, i was just making a point to post away as it was a cool pic... there are plenty posted on here that are more ''Street Rot'' than Traditional. I was trying to give encouragement not taking the piss. I don't regard this as a stupid comment nor start drama. JW

wow. that little rant would be funny if it wasn't so clearly a sign of some kind of personal struggle. i've been known to fly off the handle now and then but i try and not do it online anymore.

hope things get better for you, nitro.
