Another fine photo from Harold "The Spot" Ott....
Sorry, couldn't resist. Yeah, nice clean, simple hot rod. Can't beat slicks, Corvette valve covers, dual quads and my favorite speed shop headlight stands.

Just, WOW! I googled this man and car, and I'm thinking that the Whatever project is so subpar. This car is so well proportioned, and the detail work is amazing.

Thanks for posting this. Now I'm convinced that I should sell everything and take up butterfly collecting...

If you believe that this is not a bucket, just press the report button and the moderators (@Moriarity, @corncobcoupe) will delete it if there is an issue.

of course a T bucket can have a turtle deck. It is ridiculous to think that all T buckets are pickups

I know that disagreeing with a SUPER Moderator like @Moriarity will probably get me banned but if Norm is the Father of the T-bucket then Norm's car is the benchmark of the style. A T with a turtle deck is a roadster and is a factory produced body style. T-buckets were never a factory bodystyle and could have pick-up beds, fuel tanks or nothing behind the body, whatever the builder fancied but NOT a turtle deck. That's my take on it and I've been a bucket owner for 62 years. Let the flaming begin LOL

Where’s the steering column and wheel. They must be sitting very close to floor level. Love the simplicity and clean look.

Probably the only thing I’d change…slightly taller steering column and floor shifter!

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-bucket
here’s the Wikipedia page on the T bucket, read the history portion
    Here’s a copy and paste …

A genuine T-bucket has the two-seater body of a Model T roadster (with or without the turtle deck or small pickup box), this "bucket"-shaped body shell giving the cars their name.

Bucket body for sure…no roadster portion of body with trunk lid!

Short pickup box at rear ( most common variation)
    Turtle deck at rear
Gas tank or beer keg at rear
Just a rear crossmember at rear
Some sort of roll bar mounted off frame at rear

my eyes are having trouble but it looks like a t body to me. the light post obscures the windshield too but i can make out what looks like an aircraft steering wheel. FB_IMG_1707847361508.jpg
