  14. That's the car I've been looking for. I sure wish I knew what happened to it. It was about 1976, Lodi grape festival, this car was there. It was staying at the motel about 3 down from ours. He pulled out heading to the fairgrounds, put his foot in it, and I swear it carried the front wheels an inch or 2 off the ground, sequential gearbox. Really cool car that I'd love to have. I think it was in the Oakland Roadster show too. Could have been the Cow Palace show also.

pretty sure I saw it at indoor shows as well. I never saw it after those first few times.

Would be good to see a better shot of this one. Anyone have one or know if one's already been posted?

Probably wouldn't be hard to replicate. If you used a modern 1000cc sport bike engine, you'd have a pretty powerful combo. And if you built it right it'd be pretty lightweight.

EDIT: This is not particularly HAMB friendly so this is all I will say about it, but I have had this same kind of thought independent of this thread or forum. I've done research. I'd find and use the Suzuki Bandit 1250 engine. Makes 80 ft-lbs at the wheel by 3000 rpm holds it until just over 7000 rpm. Where it also peaks at just about 100 hp at the wheel. A few tweaks and it can make nearly 90 ft-lbs and 120 hp.

If you haven't been keeping up with @Evel 's build, he just released a complete start to finish in 30 minutes video.

I'd suggest going back and watching all the episodes, though.
