Hot Rods How about some love for the T-Bucket?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, May 9, 2021.

  1. Don't delete it. It's still a "T" Bucket in spirit. I'd love to have a "T" Bucket with a Dodge body. That's a very nice car. There's a lot of other cars on this thread that aren't "T" Buckets, but that one is more of a "T" Bucket than those are. I don't mind the one's that aren't "T" Buckets either.

Looking through pictures from the 50s and early 60s, I wouldn’t say that they were common, but they were used, even on blowers. I remember seeing a coupe with a Hemi and two 4GCs and thinking the same thing. But they can be tuned just like all the other carbs, with jets and metering rods and other tweaks. And, parts for them were much more plentiful then.

I think it's a neat photo how that little T bucket is getting all the attention and the big ol Mopar isn't, cheers

You know, back in their day, those wing cars were hard to sell. Everyone looked at them, but few could see actually driving one to work.
