    i'd have to dig the magazine out but i read about this one in r&c (i think) and it's got quite a story behind its building. if anyone knows please share.
     
  4. I've seen that car in person at the NSRA show in Springfield MO. a few years back. I remember the R&C (I think), maybe Street Rodder? article. The intake manifold has a story behind it, maybe the whole motor, but the intake has 4 carbs, and I think one is different than the other 3. Hopefully someone finds the article and we can get the facts straight. Just for the record, it's a super nice car, and I haven't seen it since.

    Google Jimmy "Doc" Parson. The engine supposedly came from the Calvin Rice Dragster. Doc had a bunch of early rare speed equipment.
