  5. I just had a 30 yard dumpster set in front of mine and started sorting. Between the 2 car attached garage and the drive in ba*****t I filled the thing up. No kidding, and I'm still not done. I still have to get the **** I kept out from under tarps in the driveway and back where it belongs. Or get anoher dumpster, lol. I'd like to trade with most of you guy's.

A Model A speedster in the work side of the garage and another bare ch***is build up of another speedster in my wifes side of the garage. My wife has been delegated to parking outside while my son and I work on it.

It's 20 degrees out with snow on the ground. Boy am I lucky it was HER idea to take over the whole garage with projects. :D

The garage projects go on hold for 2 months come Saturday once robot season begins.

I told my wife the house is hers, don't F with my garage. When I get mad that the house is dirty, 3 kids, 4 dogs, I clean it, then look at the shop and clean it. Good therapy. A clean shop is a happy one.

  14. mine is a mess, ran over a 2 gallon container of 140w gear oil, popped like zit all over the place, that **** is sticky. Still haven't figured out how it got on the floor in front of my daily where it could get run over.

  17. Mine's a mess. I've got a 40 sedan in pieces, my roadster, a tent trailer, all my tools, some of our old kitchen cabinets and a bunch of aircraft parts in a 20X30 garage. Can't hardly walk through there. To top it off, I told myself I wasn't going to spend any time or energy out there til I had the house remodel done... That's been going on for a year and half now.

So I resolve to get the last bedroom and bath done in the house, then study for and take my A&P test, and THEN get the garage put back in a semblance of order so I can start some long overdue work on the back end of the roadster. In between building a couple of new fences, re-building the front deck and porch, re-siding the house and etc.
    Ain't looking too promising!

Mine is in a constant state of disarray, and it's too damn cold out to even bother working in it. In the spring I plan to haul everything out of it, run new electrical, insulate & drywall, then install some cupboards and shelves so I can get everything off the floor.
THEN I might be able to do some actual work in it. It's only 12 x 20 so I need as much room as possible.

Major project in one car workspace.
    Currently a bare body.
    Welding/hammering/grinding.
    Much schmeg generated.
Then, 5 minutes to toss tools on bench.
    5 minutes to sweep piles,
and use leaf blower to blow the rest out.
Makes me happy to enter shop for next work session.

Sometimes even call a time out mid-session.
To give it a quick douche.
    A physcological break...a fresh start.
Helps creaky ole body keep after it.
When the fun of working wears thin.

Since I always have several things going on at the same time (hot rod,, GTO, buddy's car, etc) my shop is organized in proper, methodical, PHD fashion...

RoyalShifter, I hate your guts!!! LOL just kiddin'. If I had a garage like that, I'd never leave it! I'd just set up a cot in there and sleep smiling every night. My garage looks like a bomb went off in there. I'm renting a front loader tomorrow to start on the beer cans and go from there. I may have enough aluminum to finance my truck build.

I started on my computer/toy room yesterday and I'm still working on it and will be tomorrow as well. Yeah, it was THAT bad! It has a fair number of car parts in it besides the computer, model cars waiting to be built, 300+ old LP's waiting to get ripped to MP3's and all my old car mags and books. My wife makes me keep the door shut when she's home because it stresses her out so bad. The attached garage/workshop is just as bad and is next but the 24 X 30 out back will have to wait for Spring. No power, lights or heat and it needs to be completely emptied out and some serious pitching done. It doesn't help that my Mom moved out of her house in July and we had 70 years worth of family "treasures" that had to find new homes before the sale 3 weeks ago and most of my spare time has been spent there instead of working on my stuff so the garages got REALLY bad this year. Far too much "treasure" found it's way to my garages on top of it. I'm thinking the 30 yard roll off dumpster in front of the door is my only hope........ but I know I'm going to need it all some day.

I had mine clean two days ago, but the junk black hole dumps out in it. I don't have much space so the rest of the stuff is in the house and taking over.
