True, I could have been more specific, but I didn't know if the clearance was one ten thousandth or two ten thousandths, so I said "mere ten thousandths". Tight, but still able to slide.

The decimal representation of one tenth is 0.1.

  2. I killed the 1st motor because of a power valve in my carb when i had the carb rebuilt they threw in a normal power valve. I was running a comp 280h cam it was hydraulic lifters and it was fine. With the normal powervalve when i would tune it it would be ritch but when i got on it it would lean. I was stop light racing a new camaro and it backfired and made piston #3 disapear with the intake valve hahaha. 6 months later got a junk yard 454 it was a burnout monster hit the oilpan on my drive way incline. Lustened to a lame famous words its fine. Run it well the oil pickup broke and i spun a bearing going to the corner store
Now have a lil 87 corvette mouse seems to be fine my 750 speed demon carb is too big though so its kinda bogging im currently waiting on a rebuild kit for a 650 holley i have in the garage i know im not as savy as you old schoolers out here but hey im having fun and i havr less than 5k total cost for everything ive ran. I just listen and try and pickup all you folks info and try to remember a lil bit as i go on my quest to kill tires and go fast. All in all no one else gonna build it weld it or fix it but me
