How come I can't reply to a thread?

Trying to reply to a thread and it comes up that I don't have the privelages (spelled wrong) Why is this? I'm allowed to pm someone but can't reply. Moderator please reply in thread or pm me.

what thread are you trying to reply to? is it in the cl***ifieds? or archives? it's by design that nobody can reply to threads in those sections.

A dozen threads have been started on this subject here. If you did a search here before starting this thread your question would have been answered. Also there is a sticky in the cl***ifieds that explains why you can't.
