Hemi in a 27 T [image]http://autohobbypage.com/cgi-bin/02/image.pl?/show/02/col/nat33.jpg[/image] anyone got anymore pics?
It's got potential.... With all that shiney Orange it needs to have the body painted to match and quit pretending to be a "rat rod". With the white wheels, the WWW tires just look bland. Black wall tires would look more "all business" on this car. The fake bug catcher on top of carburetors never look right. If it was mine I'd pull a plaster mold off one of the valve covers, shorten it, pull a wax copy out of it and send it out to be cast in aluminum for an air cleaner cover. The rest of it looks *****in! (Or in 60's British Beatles slang, It looks "Fab"!)
DrJ You're right about the wheels, and the paint. But thay would be a whole lot of orange for my taste. I think on the air cleaner I'd just go to a couple of the basic round chrome jobs. Maybe a hilborn style scoop if I had to have something off the wall. But it is a rightous ride. The hemi makes it.
Nate try this it took me a couple of trys also. http://autohobbypage.com/cgi-bin/02/image.pl?/show/02/col/nat33.jpg luck
Thanks It worked, i like that car!! Torq thrust i think would look nice with white lettered tires and all orange with a will flame job all over it!! nate
I saw this car up close in personal. Its not bad, the whole thing is now painted orange. I dont think orange is the right color for this car at all. But its still perrty cool. Nick
This is a pretty good example of mixing your "tradional" style elements up. If you're going to run a blown Hemi that's all polished and chromed it should be complimented by Radirs or Americans or something 60's. As far as the orange goes, it'd work if the body was the same color as the frame and grille. Flake the top in a lighter color and you might be on to something. All that said, kudos to the guy for having the start of a cool car. He's real close. I'm a little confused about that air cleaner thing though
