Got the name Big Nick from the group of loony Harley riders I rode with in Chicago in he 80's. 1959 is the year of my birth. Back then I guess I was "Big Nick", 6'5", 260 pounds, 36 in. waist, 18" arms. Now at the age of 48 I've been thinking of changing it to.... out of shape, fat and old Nick1959 but that would take to much energy and I'm tired......I'm going to go lay down!.

    Combination of things:

    1. Mustangs are what they call officers who came up thru the enlisted ranks.
    2. Six is the designation for a commander (company, battalion, etc.)
    3. I started FordSix.com because I owned a six cylinder Mustang.

so it sort of made sense.......

I'm Abonecoupe31 because my first model A was just that, a 30-31 style Model A coupe that I built from two junk bodies, an early 30 and a early 31. I ran a 31 grille shell so I called it a 31. I used to have the Michigan Vanity plate, A Bone, on two different occaisions, I let it go twice, and the third time I tried to get it I found that it's owned by a guy on the est side of the state, registered to a 30 Ford. So it's still in the family. I always have a kind word for another Model A owner.

My friend's call me A-Bone too. I've never been without a Model A since my late teens (I turned 54 yesterday) 30 years ago my Model A coupe was my daily driver for 2 years--until I had a rod go thru the side of the block.

I doubt if I'll ever have a hot rod that isn't based on Model A parts.

At this one body shop I worked at, I was the one that got all the custom work to do. One time this guy from Boston that just moved down here wanted a slant nose , boxy fender flare, fiberglass kit for a 914 Porsche, the kind that stays on about 2 weeks then the fiberglass starts seperating from the metal etc. etc. Well, that guy would come in every other day to see the progress, and soon as he found out my name he started calling me custom cory with the thick Boston accent. It didn't take long for it to stick as everybody did their best to sound like him saying it. We get a kick out of the Boston accent! Didn't like it at first, but a lot of people call me that still, so I learned to live with it. :D

Always wanted to build a 5 window, '32 coupe when everybody was building 3 windows. Then, when I got my '31 Model A, turns out they're all 5 windows, (yes, I do know there are a few rare 3's out there) so I just kept the handle.

Mine, which is unofficial (I needed something at the time), came from my younger days when my buddy and I were out fucking around in my car and ran out of gas. We attempted to siphon some gas out of my dad's truck. Well, the only hose we could find turned out to be too short, and needless to say, we didn't get any gas out but ended up with one hell of a buzz.
