How did you hear about the HAMB?

I also heard about it from my brother Shortbus. Yeah, we got the same last name.

Been on here for 3 or 4 years, and still only have 40 something posts. Guess I oughta participate more...

If I recall correctly, I found the Jalopy Journal from a link on the Dirty Shirt site. Whatever happened to Dirty Shirt? They had some cool stuff. Was that one of your deals Ryan? WWS

 

I was pimping around with the 'puter at work,looking for hotrod stuff and stumbled onto the Jalopy Journal.Before I knew what had happened,about 2 hours had whizzed by.BTW I'm now unemployed!(actually retired)I love this site and the people here are A one....uh different...peculiar...odd.

 

I was googling for "Fad T" in late 2001.

I still want one a those*****in things...

 

Leanord Nemoy special about Crop Circles, ran the tape in slow mo backwards and saw the URl in the corn.

 

I was looking for***** on the internet. When I searched for "Gay******es from Michigan," this site came up and I clicked on it by mistake. Then it pirated my home page and everytime I try to change it something else, when I reboot I'm back to the HAMB.

But seriously, I would pop in since the Arron Von Deluxe days and read occasionaly but never kept up with it. When I bought my '26 last year, I started reading more and got hooked.

 

Being a rodder for over 40 years, it was only natural that my first searches on my first computer would be about hotrods. Two sites popped up almost every time....HAMB and Cybercruizin's RRT. I've been here ever since.

 

My Homeezz abomber30, Randy D, and Irritant, were always talking about it, so I checked it out and finally posted about a year later after I got burned out on Battleship. Now this is how I kill time at work.

 

I think it was some guy who lives in a shoebox in Bill Whittakers closet told me about it.

 

I got a sign, like the Virgin Mary appearing on a wall in the form of a water stain. While pushing the '32 into the new garage a couple years ago, the leaky nailhead left a trail of dots and dashes of oil on the otherwise pristine concrete-- looked like this:

The kid's Boy Scout training recognized it as Morse Code. And here we are.

Problem I am having now my work has installed (vehicles) to be restricted in the Websence firewall.
I AM GOING THROUGH WITHDRAWL !!!!
It really*****s not getting on the Hamb through the day.
It's the only interesting thing that happens in there.
I plan to hook up to my home server and use their browser here at work. I'll fix em If you don't hear from me much you now know why..............

my friend told me how******ed out he got when he didnt do a intro so i wanted to see it for my self and joined and learned from his mistakes now when im not in the shop im on here or hangin out in a chat room talking about new billet items coming out!! LOL nate

 

Elrusto told me about it and was a lerker for ever.

 

Never wanted a computer, not into new age*****. I saw Marts hot rod page and went back to the home page and got lost.Found the HAMB and have been stuck here since.
Lot's of info,news,bullshit and the rest of it.
Addicted.

my good freind skipstitch. he told me about this great gift of a message baord. and as all good freinds would do told me to read,read,read,and read then intro yourself[so yo wont get lambbaisted] and then reply to a thread,but only if you can do it inteligently.

 

Scary Larry told me about the HAMB.I've since met alot of great people because of it!

I think that Courtney (OGNC) told me about the site.
- I blame him for almost everything.

 

I first saw it through searching the internet for good car sites. I lurked for a week or two and then moved onto another called www.shoeboxford.com. When a regular on shoeboxford suggested that we should check the H.A.M.B. out I decided that I should give it another try and man am I glad I did! This place is hoppin' and I hope that I can be a helpful contributer and get rid of the FNG moniker.
