How do I shorten 57 Chevy pu frame

I have a 57 Chevy pick up ( 3200 ). I would like to shorten the frame so I can make a short bed out of it. Does any one have the details on now to do this. I have all the equipment necessary to do this, but need the info on where to cut, how much, and any advise on how to reinforce the frame when I weld it back up. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
