As long as it's rolling down the highway, does it really matter what it's made of? Glass cars have been keeping this hobby alive for 40 years at least.

I was itching for a 33/34 three window for years, as @grdra1 said that don’t come that often at an affordable price here in Australia, so I bit the bullet and built a glass one. I was very careful to use as many original parts as possible, I also fitted wind out windshield, exposed door hinges & operational cowl vent. I was very happy with the outcome & people always have to tap when I tell them it’s glass.

 

Both the 5w and your 3w are very cool.

Whatever it means, I don't think it is meant as a compliment.

 

I've heard 5 or 6 meanings...there were gob's of people there..most were Good ole boys,... and some were grumpy...

 

So, it's "grumpy old bastards" then. Can't argue with that one around here. I'm one of those myself.
Still, it's probably not a good idea to poke the bear and attract it's attention. Just sayin'....

 

also saylors were called gobs... but mostlt the term in america it's like the word bunch and with people it means lots.. so you could say a lot of people, or gobs like the gobs here.... a big group of people

steel coupe ,glass roadster both mine at the time. how I feel about the roadster is it was a great car & I miss it once I get the car I traded for all lined out probably won't

IMHO you would be hard pressed to put a value on the time spent behind the wheel regardless of the construction, BTW we all know what opinions are like! lighten up and enjoy the ride! HRP
