If I'm not on here for even just one day, there's like 9 pages or more to read. Even if I check in in the morning, there's about 6 pages at night.

How does everybody keep up with everything on here or even have the time?

after a few years you get better at filtering out the chatter
and focus on the worthwhile content

it helps when the thread ***les relate to the thread content

I'm with Paul on this one. It's like going to the swap meet , i scan the areas for what i want or attracts my interest, and never really see the rest.

No one can keep up with every single post. The mouseover works great for determining whether the ***le of the thread matchs the first couple of lines of content and from there I choose whether I'm going to read the whole thread or not.

Also, been slow at work so I've got more time lately:D

I pick and choose and try to keep it related to my projects...Also I have a small list of members that I know will be worth reading their posts and pay attention to those threads.

Thats what I try to do but haven't been at it that long. It does go very fast and if I was a regular working guy and not an old fart that owns his own business, I wouldn't be able to look at ****.:D

One trick I use is if I have a thread I'm interested in and make a post. I go to the "quick links" in the toolbar and go to my profile, click on it and it will have a link find all posts by...... Then you can go back and check those posts. Alos if you want to skip the clasified adds you go straight to the honky***mesage board instead of todays posts. For me it p***es time at work when we run out of work....

I can't keep up at all. I just look through for the most interesting things to me. This forum is the fastest moving forum I've ever seen. Yeah, I do also spend alot of time on here when I'm at work. But, what can you do, huh?

I got Evelyn Wood speed reading course and Hooked on Phonics out of the cl***ifeds. I can go away for two days now and stay current. Or you just could quit work or sneak peeks like the others.

The typing is where I fall down.
