No rear wheels, I cut the back half off. I'll need some other plan once it rolls again.

how much do tires for that rollback cost..... 357 shells are about 65 cents each. and Uncle Sam spent a lot of money teaching me how to hit what i shoot at.

I looked for the video of "The Club" steering wheel lock to post it's ineffectiveness, but can't find it.

Other than that I prefer my Ruger P91 with Crimson Trace sights.

Oh, and pull the coil wire as a preventative measure.

First, remove coil wire or rotor, second park car with drivers door really close to another car or wall, makes it hard to move around and then come out and greet them! :)

I had my truck rewired where the ignition key is not in it original place and with the airbags the truck is totally frame layed and the controls nowhere in sight. They cant drag it or tow it or even start it. The only person I would have to worry about is my fabricator which he has enough cars to worry about.

In all seriousness I own about 6 guns and have my concealed weapons license and never thought about shooting anyone for any of my cars. The theives nowadays all carry guns.. Does anyone think its really worth it in the end? This is from a guy that will take three years working on a car!!... Peace people, peace.

I would like to see you to get my Caddy out of my garage and on to your flatbed without any air in the tank or bags (I can barely get in on there with air bags up all the way). By the time you pumped air into the tank and bags you would meet my Louisville Slugger.

Opps! I'm sorry about the HAMB on HAMB violence.

  7. I'm sure glad I don't live too near Daddyfink. Those rifles are way too powerful for home defense. Better off with a shotgun or a pistol without copperclad ammo.

  8. For the "badasses"(cough cough) with guns. If a thief watches your patterns,,, waits an hour or 2 till after you hit the hay, by the time you actually wake up and even reach your window, most car boosts will already be smoking a blunt, deciding what parts they are keeping and where to set this pup ablaze, about a mile away. Get real.

Column locks are a joke, plain and simple. Interupt the ignition source, and you keep your car. A boost is not going to take the time to figure out why your car wont start. The longer his ass sits in that seat without the car moving, the better his chance becomes of getting caught or shot.

  9. Difference Bri,,,,,, you are loading it up making sure it wont get hurt.Terry wont offer it the same courtesy if hes lifting it. I have had flatbeds move Mills,,, not much ground clearance there either, lol.

My dad had a 78 Monte Carlo, a theif cut the club and popped the column faster than he could get to his front door. It left, but with a lot of new holes in it. Oh, well.

  12. SCWURL's got the right idea. Here's a little sumethin to put on top of his idea. Don't just pull your wire. Replace it with a fake one made from the same kind of plug wire material.
IF that doesn't slow down a thief, nuthin will.

My car has a battery disconnect combined with a neutral safety switch, a hidden kill switch to the coil and fuel pump and a Hydra-matic trans with shifter on the floor, which is enough to confuse most people! If that doesn't work, there's always the Beretta.

  14. I have a really large 1/2" diameter "cut proof" rubbe coated braided aircraft cable. It hooks under the brake pedal (where I welded a hook), then goes through the steering wheel to a kryptonite lock. Its just long enough to get the lock on after its on the steering wheel. To get it off you will have to cut off the entire wheel or most of the brake pedal off.

Its more a deterrant than anything since a flatbed can steel just about any car.

  15. I just don't make one nice enough for anyone to want to steal.

If someone could come up with an adapter to mount the steering wheel pretty easy you could take the adapter with you, and leave the wheel on the seat.

Locked behind gates, camera system and with a very alert amstaff (aka pitbull). When I'm out and about, the amstaff sits in the cab.

Agreed, .762 rounds are a little overkill, wow. And I thought my .357 stub nose and .45 were pushing collateral damage.

A great trick for the air ride guys.

My buick had a hidden kill switch with a key, I would sit the frame on the pavement and pull the key, with no power the solenoids would not work so you couldnt tow it or start it.

I know someone that replaced the cig lighter with a toggle switch attached to the fuel pump. Put the cig knob back on, so it looked like a cig lighter. If some did get it started they'd only get a block before the gas in the bowl ran out.

Yeah, but If he tries to hide after shooting at me, I can reach him a little easier. These are mainly for target practice, not very practical at all.

Shooting someone for my crap is the last resort, if at all, but I once caught someone trying to steal my shit and when I tried chasing him off with a bat, he took a shot at me with a 9mm!

In reality, I have a Mossbergh with rock salt for this type of thing. But the click clack of just loading the thing is usually enough to warn someone and send them running.

Ideally I would like to have a fenced area and get a dog, but I do with what I have.

I think the last thing I am is a "Badass". I would probably bash the poor bastard over the head with one of those before I even found the damn bullets for them!

In one of my old cars I had a kill swtich, a fuel shutoff and took out the rotor if it felt like a really bad night.
I also had a club on it and they just butchered the shit out of my steering wheel only to find out that they could not start it! It was a lot cheaper replacing the steering wheel than the whole car! And no one got hurt, that night.

  24. I'm careful where I park for a start...always leave the car where it can be seen by a bunch of people....I also have a hidden immobiliser (simple key switch) and a steering wheel bar that locks to the wheel so it can't be turned...OK it's all "get passable" but it just makes it difficult for the scum bags to take your stuff!

  25. Wasn't saying you (or anyone) directly.I have guns too. Hell most guys do. Was refering to the guys puffing up with "I'll shoot them 2o, blah, blah, blah". Thats fine. Be a tough guy with guns and tell everyone how you will paint the walls with blood. Then do NOT do a damn thing to secure it. I will enjoy reading your post later asking everyone to look for your car that was stolen. If a theif wants it bad enough, he WILL get it. The idea is to make it hard enough that he has to take time on it, doesn't want the risk and moves on to the next guys car who thinks he doesn't need to secure it because he has guns.

I secure mine because I don't want to ever use a gun. A Club may not be the best of security, but it is a good visual deterent. A quick boost bastard will just move on to an easier mark if they see a Club they have to work on. But yes, if they want it bad enough, they will get it.

Thanks God I stopped drinking PBR! :)

Hydraulic solenoid or manual valve for my brakes. Mount it inside the frame rail. Depress brake pedal. flip switch. Car no roll.

You can do this for the clutch too.

    You don't.
Insure it to the hilt is your best option.

If a thief wants it bad enough, it's gone. Perfect example is my neighbor. Went on vacation. Has a very nice Vicky in the garage w/ all the kill switches & such.
Neighbors saw the flatbed tow back up the driveway. Guy breaks into the garage side door & opens the roll up door. Hooked the winch to it & drug it on the truck, closed the door off they went. No one thought anything of it. Just assumed the tow was there to take the car to be fixed or something. Obvious they staked this guy out & knew exactly what was in there. Never recovered the car.
