How do you read tire dates?

I don't know what the numbers mean but I'd like to know what year these tires are. Don't worry I'm replacing them. I was just taking them off to load them in my truck and saw the numbers. Thanks

Now throw away those tires they are dry rotted........

 

No matter what the date says, that tire in the original post is frigginnn old.

The above post I believe is for 2000 and newer tires, to have the year shown as 07, (2007) or 09 for 2009.

 

Please say you were NOT driving on those?

 

No these are not being driven on, the car has been garage bound since I bought it due to the poor condition of the tires
