Technical How do you remove baby moon caps?

I also did the same thing to some small smooth Moon style hubcaps. The big problem I found in drilling those two holes is that they get water inside and start the rust process quickly. So, make sure you drain them out. It is a little extra work to pop them off after the So Cal rains come and go, but drying them off is a good thing.

Plus, when sitting anywhere on the street or friend's driveway or even in the drive-in parking lot, no one wants to have water drops dripping out of the hubcap... Car washes are notorious for putting more water inside of those small holes. YRMV
