You can unscrew the end cap and carefully pull out the guts. I can't remember if I had to take anything apart or if I just turned it around and stuck it back in. A machine shop can then bore the hole into the end cap where your shaft will now come out. Its an awkward part and difficult to drill into and keep it lined up properly.
