So I have a one piece 32 Ford truck grill and shell and need to chop it down about 5". Where do people section the grill bars so that it looks factory? I was thinking of cutting it on both sides of the horizontal support bar, crimping, welding, and grinding so it looks stock. Any suggestions?

    Pictures would be great.

    Thanks everyone!

I looked at a 34 commercial shell I've got and it look s to me like you're on the right track...

Others have cut 5" off the bottom and "channelled the shell to mount it lower...(you end up with a stock height grille though)....either method seems to work...
