Hot Rods How do You support your (hot rod) addiction?!

Recently retired and previously had an income stream. Now more than ever before I need to budget to make ends meet, live within my means and still have some fun. My current project is close to being finished and paint doesn't come cheap so it's time to consider downsizing my house to free up some capitol. Too much time spent maintaining a big house and not enough time for me and cars.

 

For some stuff, find friends that have stuff they don't need and trade for it - one of my friends likes cherry pie and my wife knows and likes him and agreed to make him a cherry pie - in return for which I got a steering wheel, column and box for my truck, as we both like the same brand and he has gone through a LOT of trucks for parts he needed and has a lot of parts left over he doesn't need. We will also be making him some cherry jam and maybe some rhubarb marmalade. I'm sure his wife could make any of this just as easily, but it's what he asked for rather than $$$
