Add up your receipts...do not include your labor....deduct 25% because the engine is apparently NOT completely ***embled, so you are unable to provide any guarantee that it will start and run. Then put it in the HAMB cl***ifieds with some kind of "won't take less than" figure....

A lot of guys (I'm one of them) really like those big 430s...they weight a bunch but if they'll pull a fat*** Linc around, think what it'll do in a nice little hot rod at half that weight.

Step up to the bar and name a number....how can anybody in here be expected to 'guess' on something only YOU have touched/seen/worked on?

Put it on Ebay with no reserve.

You'll know exactly what it is worth in 7 days.

    Yep,
About 1/2 to 3/4 what you have in it, not counting your labor. And that's if you have receipts and are willing to take the engine apart for inspection. Maybe more if you have a rep for putting together good engines or it's EXACTLY what someone is looking for.

Well right now I am talking with someone that has a 430 that he has taken apart . He just removed the intake & heads for a project and has lost interest . I can get it $150 . Not sure if I want another engine laying around !
