Customs How Do You Tork this Style Rocker Stud

    Supposed to be Torked 50 ft lbs. Small Block Chevy with Dart Iron Eagle Heads. The Rocker Studs have one end spins into head and the other end has a smaller thread where the nut to tighten the rocker arm down. There isn't anywhere to get a wrench on, its all threaded stud, so how the heck can you tighten them/ I need advice on this one guys, gotta check the valve lash to get this motor running, Thanks , Stan

    Most have an allen tip in the top of the stud or a small hex head....

    They probably make a special tool to grab the stud so you can tighten it down, but the double nut trick works fine too. Just takes a little more time.

    IIRC, the ARP rocker studs I used in my OT 86 Vette had a hex head to put a deep well socket on. Without that, the double nut method will work, just have to make sure they don't move on the stud while tightening the stud down.

    What size and thread per inch on the rocker threads.
