Projects How far do your Buick drums stick out??

    So, I have the basic Wilson hub set up with the hub on the outside, but these goofy ass Halibrands have zip for back space and the whole damn drum sticks out.

    Putting the hub on the inside would gain a bit, but would be KIND of a pain in the ass. And, Halibrand only makes this backspace now.

    It looks like a Lance Sorchik drawing...Can I live with this?????

    I couldn't. I see that quite a bit and I think it really detracts from the car's appearance:( Those brakes need a wheel with a lot more backspace.

    Maybe you can, but not me. It looks terrible. Not only that, the king pin centerline that should intersect the ground under the tire..won't. Begging for death wobble IMO

    Buick drums already move that line too much, even with 40/48 steelies

    did you save your receipt. i would return them . them dam. buick drum sales men. hahahahahahahahaahaha .... mine look the same . rember when i said i dont love mine. thats why. im going to sell my setup becaus of that reason. see ya

    The drums are actually fine...They look great with the OLD Halibrands off my Model A. But the NEW Halibrands have this fucked up backspace.

    Still thinkin... -Abone.
