That is the biggest junk car auction I’ve ever seen. it’s gonna be a shame to see so much stuff get scrapped. There’s not enough old car people in the country to put it all to good use.
I just wish I had another 70 years to get started again. wow. Amazing.

There are plenty of popular cars there that the aftermarket doesn’t support so if nothing else it’s prime picking for parts.

I'd take a shot at that convertible Stude.
If, I say if, I was younger.

A few fixers (the "Christiane style plymeth" is a '60, the 1960 Imperial is a 1966 I believe), lots of good parts there too but you'll have to buy the whole car to get them, which is going to turn off a lot of buyers. Unfortunately, the bulk of this stuff will likely go to scrap, whether or not there's good bits left on them.

Even if I was close by to this one, I wouldn't want to buy and drag 10 carcasses home to strip off a handful of good, valuable bits.

The Imperial would be a donor for the 440 torqueflight

How much DESIRE,is the main key. Do you have enough too over come those bad or missing parts? Of what ever ya start on!
Often, those work with lots more desire then $$$$.
As a teen,in the 1950s,with a very tiny piggy bank of saved $,finding free stuff was the big key,an making what could be found fit a dream.

A great auction for "save all the old cars" crowd. Time for them to step up.

Saved, but not. I mean when valve covers are rusted out, some of that has been there a Long time! Hope people are interested enough to save some of it.

Depends if any come with titles. There's quite a few tri-five 2 dr. sedans that might be worth buying to net doors, quarters, etc for 2 door conversions. Especially if they hammer down near scrap metal prices.

  20. It all depends on what you are looking to do with them. As street cars/full bodied drag cars, I would say they are to far gone, but for a cut down vintage drag car, or vintage oval track car there is more then enough to work with.

All you need is from the belt line up!

There were a few there I could be tempted to drag home. If they were not so far away, If they actually looked as good in person as they looked in the pictures. If they are as complete as some appear to be, If I had a way to get them home, and If they sold at a price I could afford.

The issue with many of them is that this may be one of the few places remaining in the entire country where you may have been able to find the missing parts you need, but this place won't be anymore.
