All the snow and ice coating on top is what is making it so cold . The sun is getting warmer and the days are getting longer :D but until that snow melts , it just won't warm up enough yet !
The weather was calling for the low 50's for Monday till Wed but like usual they changed it again . Maybe the lower 40's if we are lucky now . I guess that is better than the below freezing temps we have had all winter long . The ground has been white since before Christmas . That snow has got to go !

After nearly a week of above freezing temps and getting spring fever - it's snowing again. Started about an hour ago and the ground is already covered. Storm warning's out till Monday morning. Damn, I wish winter was done! Detroit AutoRama is next week maybe that'll help.

Rain this weekend, more next weekend & highs in the low 60's this coming week. I know we have it good but I still want to see the 80's again.

Well here we go again ! It's snowing and coming down hard big time ! By tomorrow evening we are suppose to have 3" to 5" and mid to up state Pa they are suppose to get 5" to 12" of snow ! We are also suppose to get some mix in there as well . So we can end up with sleet freezing rain tomorrow then back to snow tomorrow night .
Thursday we get some more snow too then more this weekend .

Wed was suppose to be in the mid to upper 40's but now they changed it to the mid to low 30's now .

WTF ! The weather people have all this great equipment to tell them what the weather is suppose to do so we can prepare for it but they can't get it right from one day to the next ! I would love to have their job so we can say anything , screw up our jobs and then blame it on one of the computers they use . What happened to the 1970's when they told use what the weather would be like 3 days at a time and get it about 95% right ! Anyone else would loose their job and all these people do is blame the shift in the weather patter which is called the wind !

If the world is getting warmer( ask Al Bore), why is half the nation freezing? I don't get it. Must be a conspiracy.

Like you said , look who told you ? He's nothing but a joke and always will be . He is a tree hugger and doesn't know what he thinks he is suppose to knows ! He sell books and makes good money from the tree huggers he has talked into into thinking all this is happening to us due to our cars . So when we all have electric cars , where ill all the dead batters go when we need new ones . Yep some recycled and the rest into a landfill !

Well it looks like nearly of foot of new snow to plow today here in central lower Michigan! I wanted to do something besides plowing snow on my day off but that's changed now.

Yesterday morning the ground was nearly bare. Not now. Oh well it's only February. Maybe by next month at this time. . .

    Ron ,
Why do you keep sending your snow storms over to us ? It was in the mid 70's 3 days ago and now we are in the mid to low 20's with heavy snow and we are going for about 6" to 8" . OH well I am glad I didn't move the snowblower into the shed . Mine is still in the garage and ready to work !

Well the damn weather man on the news just told us we are looking at 8"+ !

Tuesday, 19 April 2011 and I had to go over to Ft McCoy (near LaCrosse) Wisconsin yesterday for some work stuff.

I looped south around Lake Michigan, over to Rockford then north. By the time I got to Madison the rain turned to snow - very slick, sloppy stuff and strong winds. Hit the ASC ****on, good thing! Before too long I was in 4x4 mode, going about 45 tops. A Chevy pickup with one of them highprofile travel trailers was flipped on its top in the right lane. Another 100 miles and more wrecks and ditch riders than I could count.

Finally checked in at the Fort about 3:00, three hours later than expected.

TV reported that LaCrosse area got 7" of snow. I love spring!

Was sunny in the afternoon at 80 and breezy ! Was under a severe thunderstorm watch and not a cloud in the sky and no storms in sight ! Don't think the weather people know how to read a computer at all !
Tomorrow will be down in the 50's and windy then we will have rain and or showers the entire next week ! I know I live in Pa. but have we changed places with Washington state ? This has been the most screwed up past month I can remember ! In the past 45 days we have had hot days in the mid 80's , lows in the low 20's , a twister 15 minutes from where I live , snow and lots and lots of rain ! The temperatures have had a 50 degree difference between the highs and lows with in a few days of each other !
Hard to do body work and paint with this ****py weather !

Jeff I just might have to take you up on that one but this damn state has about 3 or 4 different ones in different places ! Load up the gun and lets go hunting !

Hoping everyone a happy, nice and safe Easter!

I drove home from Wisconsin on Friday, it rained nearly all the way.

Saturday was great, mid/upper 60s and nice enough to - do lawnwork, picking up branches, leaves etc. and getting ready for fertilizing. Checked out the lawnmower, belts, filters etc and made it ready for another season. Started up the Fairlane & pulled her out for an hour or 2.

Blessed with a brand new grandson (#7) last Tuesday so we went to greet him into the family. So today's Easter, and over to the kids this afternoon to 'pig out' on ham and all the fixins. Another nice day so far but it's looking stormy to the west. Probably gonna rain before dark.

Weather this weekend (friday/saturday) was almost perfect... sunny, 60 degrees! I had both cars out for drives... the yard art got all the looks... even got stopped by the local cops for a safety inspection! P***ed!!!! the tried to nail me for no fenders but a weigh slip from the scales got me off.

Looking forward to another nice weekend. I added a couple more pictures of the yard art in my album
