how lond did it take to wire your first hot rod?

    Designed my own years ago using some reference material purchased at the mecca of auto parts knowledge - JC Penny! Probably took a month or so off and on to figure it out and then a couple of months off and on to do it. Going in now and making some updates with probably about the same timing. :cool:

    Took me and my brother 3 saturdays start to finish, about 8 hours each day. So a total of 48 manhours. Used Rebel Wire's kit, which is great stuff.

    I drew up a schematic first on my CAD program. Then ordered the missing parts I needed, wire, shrink tubing, 6 circuit fuse panel, brake light switch and three relays. It took longer to get the parts than wiring it up. I did one circuit at a time. The relays really make it a clean set up. It was lot easier than I thought it would be...
