I bet you've got a F1 pickup front spring mainleaf there... Or a REALLY stretched out 32!

    That's not a '32 axle.

A repo '32 spring is 31" long but they do seem a little short and hard to install. It appears it MIGHT be a flat '32 spring. If you put the spring pack back togeather , my guess is it will be about 32" or 31 3/4 as Tommys is. you wont need to disassemble the front spring pack to install it (if you have the right spring). from the big picture of the axle I'd say its not a '32 axle. Perch bolt centers are only 36.5" on a '32 axle.

Stock Model A through 1934 Ford front springs measured 31 1/2 inches eye to eye with the spring pack assembled.

It looks as if you do have a stock main leaf. Edit... After looking at your photos, it appears the you have an aftermarket spring.

A stock Ford (A -1934) axle with 36.5" perch centers require a spring that measures 31 1/2" eye to eye.

An aftermarket axle that measures 36" perch centers (Superbell, Magnum) require a spring that measures 31" eye to eye.

Isn't the dumb end of your tape measure on the 1" line making it about 32" center to center??

Lets try this: What car are you puting the axle under?

center of hole to center of hole: '32 axle is 35" perch pin to perch pin. 2" clevis span. king pin to king pin 47".

41" perch to perch axle sounds like'42 and up 2 1/2" clevis span.

That looks like a 37-41 axle.
