[ QUOTE ] haring, your right,it looked to cartoonish before. now that ive had a day or so to look at it ,i like it alot more. i studied the grille and its 3 3/4 of the ground, which may seem alot to you city slicker folk, but living in the country its about all i can get away with, the pic i posted is actually a lil bit distorted,in real eyeball perspective its not noticeable, and flows. anyways ,its just a pile of shit im trying to make into a hotrod. [/ QUOTE ] Section it about 4".. It's too high... stand it up a bit too, You'll be glad you did
Assgasket, yes it viable, I built my roadster to be a unibody car. No x members between the framerails, the bellypan is welded in and load bearing, and the driver sits between the framerail and a 11" tall driveshaft tunnel ( also load bearing ).
why don't more people go that route...??? too much work...??? I'd think that the floor space would be worth it...
I'm with PakRat32, my A is channeled 6+ inches so the door almost sits on the running board. I kept going until the belt line matched the bed rail. It is easier to get away with this and not look goofy when running fenders. This old pic is all I have at work. TZ
pakrat- your truck is the shit! a real inspiration to me. i just picked up my 34 cab this week. time to start collecting parts! wes
