Peter Eagan wrote a piece regarding this years ago i Road and Track magazine in his side glances colume.

The winner in his opiion, turned out to be not the person with the most cylinders but rather the fellow at the Oshkosh EAA meet with the 2 stroke powered margurita mixer. It not how many, but rather the pleasure that they bring with their use.........

Man, I thought I had more; 67 counting weedwackers, Honda 750, two lawnmowers, a Geo motor (don't ask), two spares waiting for projects (425 Cad, and Mitsbishi 4 for a roadster idea), a 47 stude, a couple of sbc, Lamont (the Shadow), Stella (the Neon), Malibu, Astrovan and 3 air compressors.

I quickly counted up 27 firing ones (2x8+6+4+1)... and it seems like that's too many for me to try to keep in working condition.

I think this is yet another way to make me feel automotively inferior..but i'll bite. 27 cylinders is what i have. 4 of them are currently non-functioning but i counted them anyway.
