I know where shoebox is....Australia! The new owner is a Hamber, sends me cool updates and photos, and makes me hate the fact that i sold it. lol. But hes taking real good care of it and finishing the build just right! I NEVER should have let it go. I was just pissed off at it and instead of waiting a month, I sent it down the road

When I sell one, they seem to completely disappear! Sometimes just like a child leaving home, I like to keep track of them. But they don't normally stay local. So I just won't sell any of mine anymore. Oops! Am I going to start something again?.....lol

I've been fortunate ,Ive had Chevelle;s ,Monte carlo and Lots of trucks One was Caddy powered ,Now I turned my attention to streetrods ,I had the 71 gmc sprint for 10 years The day it left something was missing and it still is ,The only reason I sold the car truck was I just finished my Firebird .But I still feel the same way .I paid 450 for the car ,No motor ,Trans and rear ,I ***embled car and did full body work and paint ,Worst part is I didn't sell it because I neede the money ,I sold it thinking I have a new ride and I didn't need both .

The one I really miss is in Italy somewhere, '52 Roadmaster ragtop. There are two I'd love to find...Dad,s old '60 AWB falcon 'AGGRAVATION', last known in Louisiana, Mo. And his old '33-'34 Plymouth, I've been told the Plymouth is a brown street rod in southern Il.

I sold my 60 Cadillac Coupe to a buddy of mine in L.A. and I would love to have it back. Not like it was, but like it is now. For the same price of co****. He's not going for it however. What an ***hole.

Even tho it is not HAMB friendly, I would love to have my first car back, a '67 Mercury Caliente 2dr hardtop. Never even seen one at a car show. A friend of mine says it's still in my hometown, gets out once or twice a year. Man, brings back a lot of old memories of screwing around and driving 100 mph on gravel roads with no seat belts. Thought we were invincible back then....

Sold the '30 coupe in my avatar back around '85 in M***achusetts. Channeled, no chop, early Ford Mustang drivetrain, 2X4 tube frame....

Last I heard it was painted white but I don't know if that's true.
Don't need it back but I'm curious where it is and what it looks like today....

Back in the early '90's I hit my head real hard and sold a '36 Ford five window coupe that had been in my family on my mom's side since the the late '30's. I sold it for the princely sum of $1,900 and just to make it extra special I included a pristine Edelbrock four carb aluminum intake with four '97's mounted to it. I sold it because I wanted to buy...wait for it....

a 1974 Covette! It was a nice car but knowing what I know now...well, I just realize that I am not that smart. Oh well.

I tried finding it a few years ago but the trail ran cold in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Here is my post from around four years ago or so. If you want to check it out, and if you might be able to help drop me a PM.

Bet you don't have the 74 vette now.

My cars seem to fall through some deep crack, never to be found.
The last one, a 55 Chevy 2 door sedan changed hands 4 times in 2 years. It then fell off the edge of the world, never to be seen again.

Yup. I found it but owner says he'll never sell it. Setting in a storage container.

  23. I regret at least half the cars I have sold, and always wonder where they are. Heck, I sold 3 of them dirt cheap right here on the HAMB a few years back, a '50 Dodge pickup for $500, a '50 Dodge Coronet for $600, and a '32 Chevy cab for $200. As you can see, I was hurting for the money big-time. I sold them off with the promise that I would receive updates and pictures. Well, I'm still waiting!!! I swear, if I had the chance to buy them back for what I sold them for (fat chance) I'd jump at it. Same goes for the flat black '57 Bel Air moredoor that I sold for $1500 a mere 4 years ago, running and driving (yes, apparently I'm retarded) that mocks me by driving past me every day in the spring and summer.
About 10 years ago, after a fairly lengthy search, I did find a car I severely regretted selling (O/T-chopped, lowered, 12-second 66 VW Beetle). There it was, sitting in the junkyard after the guy I sold it to gave it to his 16 year old son, who had it all of one week before he thought it was a good idea to use it as a woods basher/rifle practice target/beer can depository. I hate kids.

I've heard she's guarding a field around Lawrence, KS. South of town, maybe on 1050 or 1250 road. If anyone can help me find her, i'll marry the ugly daughter they cant get rid of. 1949 Willys 4X4-63 Jeep Delivery. 283 with a 2GC, T90, 5.38 gears. Had chimney sweep adverti*****t planks in the body lines down the side when i got her. Shoulda had my head examined when i sold her. Caught up with her 3 or 4 times but never the owner, supposedly she's in a field with a shot trans...

The Thug is missed as well but she went to someone that could stop the serious cancer underneath. The mopar powertrain that killed a million mustangs on the streets of Kansas City in a 4100lb car is now in my Falcon G***er. Currently 1900lbs, I predict finished weight of 2600lb (which in reality will probably be 2850)

Hey! I cut up a rust free Fury just like that a couple years ago just for its 335 horse 383!!

Also, I had a 1972 GMC Sprint SP, the "SS" of the GMC version! Cowl induction hood, indash tach, all that wierdness. They only made a handful of them, I think the made less the ten of them optioned like it...

I haven't sold any cars, but I regret cutting my Model A Coupe all up to make a roadster. Ah, you live, you learn, right?

1969 2 door? They only made about 970 of the Hardtop roofed models (regular angled backgl***) and about a 1000 of the concave backgl*** Formal Sedan roof models - or was it the other way round? I had one of each- sold them as a pair to the guy i got my Falcon from.

    318,000 four doors made, lol.
    sorry for the OT content....

Be careful what you wish for... I looked for my old 34 P/U above.

When I found it, it was "tubbed" with a hydraulic lift under my home made bed like the mini-trucks from a few years ago. God it looked silly sitting with the bed tilted up in the air and those huge tires that the engine could never spin if he tried. It still has my one of a kind banjo steering wheel. I feel sad every time I see it.

If you can find some insurance papers or something with the Vin # then a friendly cop may be able to locate it for you if it's still in state.
