I did for many years........my old coupe : and a radical custom 51 Fleetline but I used the wrong tail lights
I have a '53 mild custom Chevy and a '30 Ford coupe that currently stock but waiting for my 8BA to be dropped in. ~ Carl
My '39 I consider a Hot Rod, 283 3 deuce, Muncie 4 spd, posi rear. My '40 I consider a mild custom, '39 Deluxe headlights, louvered hood, Lincoln tail lights, rolled and pleated interior.
Yep just traded my F100 for a 61 Biscayne with a nice 454, steel wheels, dog dish hubcaps, and a nasty exhaust note. Also have a nice mild Kustom 61 Sunliner...but that might be going bye bye for a nice little hopped up Falcon Hardtop...I’ve loved Kustoms for years....all of a sudden my tastes have swayed to the days of the Super Stock / Junior Stock type cars...at 6’4 240 Models A’s are not s sensible option and those 50’s and 60’s cars are a nice fit
If projects count-'53 Chevy pickup custom chopped four inches, sectioned four inches, '31 Chevy coupe hot rod.
Had a 40 tudor and my 49 mild fleetline but last fall my brother in Cruces talked me out of the 40. I did replace it with a 64 Chevy II wagon. Now I have a custom and something else (not sure what).
I use to have both. A 1940 Ford coupe & a 1955 Olds Holiday 98 mild custom. Sold them both at the Nationals one year an hour apart.
This was my 1st Hot Rod because I don't count race cars or Muscle cars. Sold it to pay medical bills so now building a 39 Plymouth Coupe with a 392 for power.
