How many hemi owners on the board

    I see a lot of Hemi's here trying to bend the stand they hang on. How much of these 'StandBenders' have actually been put in a car since this topic started in 2006? :rolleyes: ;)

    That being said... here's my 392 'hanging around' in the garage... :D
    It's bored .020", .010" undersize crank. The motor will get a dual carb Weiand intake with 2 Carters on top...

    Now building a NE56 354 Hemi and teaching grandson the art of hot rodding old school.

    Also have parts motors a 56A 331 Industrial and 51 331 with long bell housing on block.

    55 heads, AKA Triple nickel heads. or "555"

    4" bore Ross 10.3 to 1 pistons
    [​IMG]
    MSD "Ready to Run" distributor, Quick Fuel 680 cfm, Taylor wires and spark plug boots. Polished intake, water pump, and timeing cover by Grandpa. '57 392 Water crossover with the brackets and roughness ground off by Grandpa too. Plasticoat engine pain.

  4. 57 Dodge 325 KD500 in a Victress. Schneider cam, balanced, windage tray, H-beam Pontiac rods, MSD and two WCFB's.

    There are 5 of us in the group who are running Hemi's, I'm the only HAMBer, the rest are lurkers..
    3 are running 392's..2 are running 2x4's, the other is Hilborn Fuel injected on the street.
    1 has a 276 w/ homemade Pro-Stock style intake w/ 2 unknown 2bbls
    Mine is a 291...It's assembled and needs to be put in the car....I have to wait till we finish the 55' gasser...

    I have a 354 and a 331. The 354 is destined for my 30 Model A Sport Coupe. I don't know yet what I am going to do with the 331. I'm sure I'll find a use for it, though.

    i still have my firedome. they're getting to be as common as small block chevies. it's got me spending more time on the monthly banger thread. i can see a riley 2 port in my future.

    Chrysler 354 hemi for my roadster plan to start it this summer.
    Lots of work put in to the engine to get OK.
    Put a Muncie behind it.

    Me, I be hemi owner! Had most popular sizes of them over the years, including the race hemi. I've just got a 331 industrial now, with a removable bell housing extension. I'm thinkin' track t.

    55' 331 going into an A with a few goodies.

    also, a quick thanks to scootermcrad and all his efforts that have gone into creating, organizing and maintaining the hemi tech on this board. thanks to everyone who've also assisted and posted to make the tech what it is. it is all very much appreciated.

    How many of you have a Hemi AND the car it came in? ;) :D My '57 New Yorker still has its virgin 392 in the frame rails. Of course it's in pieces right now. :rolleyes:

    I have a CE55 331 from a '55 Imperial with 555 heads. Going to be a hot runner with a rowdy cam and a T5 behind it.

    I've been running my rpu for two years now with a 354 with a 300 cam and four 97's. I've also got two 55 imperials that lot drive [ no brakes ].

    My 56 New Yorker has 48,634 miles on it's original 354. I drove it to church last Sunday. It's my "mild" hemi.
