I just bought a project so I'm ready to be in the shop. I spend a lot of time traveling in my regular job and when I'm stuck in a hotel room I frequent this board and a few others all day.

  10. alot, but its okay cause while others are playing video games and what not, im on here, and i justify it cause i learn from here, and apply it to my project. making a pretty much unsavable car into something is a pretty big acomplishment for a do it yourselfer.

I can't put in writing how much I am here...don't you know big brother is watching???

My work has me A LONG WAYS from home so this is the only way I keep what little sanity that I have...I think...maybe???

  13. Now that depends on weather you count asleep with your head on the keyboard as time on the H.A.M.B? If thats NOT counted as time on, it would only be as little as 23 hours a day................

My computers always on and when I'm home I log it onto the net, the H.A.M.B. is my home page so its alway open. I stop by and check it numerous times in a day.

    Doc.

I would say about three hours daily. It was about seven when I was recovering from surgery.

  20. HAMB is on on the computer all day at work, I look at it more than I probably should! A few hours a day at least, quiet days even more, plus weekends again a few hours here and there. Its 10.20pm and I am on the couch looking still....its like my crack.

Wife would say I am on it way too much,..I tell her I am hardly ever looking, if I am its research and its better for me than ****.

Like someone else posted, I would be finished my car if I spent as much time working on it as I spent on the HAMB. :)

Way to many since I retired. When I was working, maybe a couple hrs. If it was warmer I'd go out and work on the car.

  24. My wife says this site is a gearheads Facebook! At least we don't have silly games like Farmville is my response and she counters with "what is a build thread you talk about?" Damn women! Yeah, on here too much apparently and diddn't think she was listening to my ramblings either! :D

I check in a couple times a day and read mostly, I'd say about an hour or so a day.

Depends what you mean by "on" the HAMB. I work in front of a computer all damn day...and it's my own business. My employees are all over the world....UK, Canada, France, ****stan....so I do conferencing, meetings, etc based on their local time. You get the picture.

I'm logged onto the HAMB nearly a literal 24/7.....put in a total of 14 hours average in front of this infernal machine each day....usually 6-7 days a week. I'm always hopping back and forth from work to my other monitor in between tasks. It gets me into trouble, but I only have to answer to myself....and my wife when work isn't getting done and billing doesn't go out!
