    Method 1
You can direct link your pics from your hard drive. Hit the "Go Advanced" button, then hit the "Manage Attachment" Browse and upload your pic. This method uses up Ryan's bandwidth and only allows small pics.

    Method 2
The easiest way is to sign up for a free Photobucket account. Upload your pics to Photobucket. Then cut and paste the IMG. code into your message. Make sure you stack your text and photos on top of each other, not side by side read.

Just saw this post, and this is my first post. I was born in Bridgewater Ma. and lived in Charlestown Ma. for a couple of years, now I am somewhat homeless living in hyannis(Cape Cod)Ma.. My shop is in East Bridgewater Ma. been here for about a year and a half. Very cool to see fellow massholes on here. I lived in los angeles for 4 years and it just isn't the same as our lovely state(our great year round weather, gracious drivers:mad:). Stuck here for life and enjoying it.

Thanks for the good words hoop. My shop is pretty new I have been open for about a year and a half and I stay pretty low key. All my work pretty much comes from word of mouth, I don't really advertise and I don't even have a sign. It's not back ally but I try to be as profesional as I can be. I do have a website, so you can check that out and I have a page on the Hubgarage.com. I try and stick to what I know, We do restorations, hot rods, customs, and pro-touring style cars. I try to keep as much as I can inhouse. I do sheet metal work, body work and assembly. I have one full time employee, Erik is a mechanic and does some minor fab work, I also have a part time bodyman(aka my dad) who has been doing body work for 50 years. We will be moving in to a bigger building very soon. I am here all the time so just stop by or just give me a call. Thanks Jon.

    Hey Jon
Just an fyi-Hope you have the right licenses and permits for stuff. Was told 'they' are really starting to crack down (expecially on the South Shore) for people running 'personal shops' (thats what they called it ) and not having bsuiness licenses and insurance and EPA /disposal- all that crap. Guess in 2009 its one of the 'goals' in MA to get rid of the illegal car shops- Gov Patrick probably drives a hybrid. and wouldnt know a nice 40 Ford if he fell over it..lol

Kinda stinks for the guy who is tryin to build a clientele before they make that big move to business ya know?MA sucks for that sometimes.

Wish we could just be in the desert like Winfield- no one would care if we even blew crap up there!lol

Id like to see your shop sometime- maybe the next time Im in the area? Whats your website page?

Thanks Matt. I added my website to my signature and I forgot to add it to the post.

Thanks lenny for the fyi. I am up to date on everything so hopefully no problems. I think the hardest part about being in business is not doing the work but keeping up with all the paperwork. I try and keep my business as legit as possible, it makes the customers feel better. It is hard when you play by the rules and then you get some guy working out of his house, no overhead and no worries. People ask why he is so much cheaper, it's because almost everything he makes is profit. Try paying insurance on a business and general overhead(rent, heat, materials) never mind employee's. If I charge 70.00 an hour and they charge 40.00 an hour, I might make 15.00 profit were they may make 30.00. Sorry I'm not going to go off on a rant anymore. Thanks lenny for the good words and stop by anytime. thanks, Jon.

Im right there with ya pal. Found after all these years I cant work FT in the shop. Best thing I ever did was hire someone who knew paperwork better than me- that way I can at least concentrate on the stuff that involves fab and body work and stuff.

If you can afford it- hire someone- even part time- its SOOOOOO much better- especially if they are an expert in the admin world.
Also make sure to get a good accountant that specializes in small business and they will push you the right way too.

My overhead in the shop is ridiculous for insurance and the lke - BEFORE I even pick up a wrench...lol so I understand the hourly rate etc.
people just dont realize that the stuff we do with insurance and licenszes etc also protects them.

GLad to hear someone else likes/hates this as much as me:D
