I think.... the A coupe will be done this year. I am closing in every weekend. Just wondering how many projects out there are almost done?

Plan to have the Lyndwood rail at Hershey in October, built in Pennsylvania 50 years ago.

I am shooting for the first week of May for my new, ('30 roadster, A V8 style in the Vern Tardel style), for the spring Violators run. See if the money holds out.

  6. 2009 is looking pretty good finally. My "Locomotion" '55 g***er will be ready for compe***ion as soon as it gets a little warmer out, and I plan to get my 'A coupe out there by mid-summer. Dad's restoration of the Patrick Bros. "In-Bomber" '57 Chevy should be done in 2009 as well, though I can't say for sure when exactly and to what degree. He's doing a frame up resto on the thing.

"RoseBud"...yeah I named it, the '31 Vicky g***er will hit the street this year, I've had this car in my head for going on 50 years and I can't tell ya how it feels to see it come together. All the parts I had been collecting for this build are now out of my garage, weird, some hung on the wall for decades. Many Thanks to the Guys at Circle City who have been working steadily for two years, amazing fabricators and stand up fellas.

We'll have our dragster/comp coupe done for Englishtown or at the latest for the HAMB meet at Beaver Springs in the fall.

Is a car ever really finished. There is always something to improve, replace, of fix. I know when ever I replace something on my car it leads to three or four more things that need to be done. :D

How about the 32 5 window i got in 1965 that was just started. The last time it ran was in 1996. Last time on the road was in 1980. New points and fluids and she runs great.

Mine is bascially "done"...with the exception of bodywork, paint and interior...I plan to drive my '55 Caddy to our "first" rod run of the season -- 'April Action' in Moab, Utah the end of April...

Mine will be done. I had a minor set back on 2/5/09 in the name of a new baby boy. The dust has settled for a little while, but got in some time this morning.

I am shooting to have it driving by the end. Not sure if everything will be painted though.

  26. Can't say finished but I'll have two on the road in time for the HAMB Drags.

The Flat Fender is about 200.00 and a good strong weekend away from being daily transportation. 2 Solid weekends and a couple of gallons of paint would make it nicer.

Wilbur's Stude has a bunch more work that it needs but its Joplin or bust.
At least that's what has been mentioned on the pillow the other night.

Once this project is over (60+ hrs a week) I'm guessing its going to be late nights and cheese burgers through August.

I plan on driving mine to the SE Nats in Tampa in October. It might not be finished, but it should be running good. Gary

Mine needs a finished wiring harness and then it is off to the upholstery guy.
Then it will be ready for SUMMER FUN ...

It has been in the 70's here most all week and I have the Lizard Skin all sprayed and most of the DynaMat installed. Working on the final wiring ( brake light switch, neutral start switch and other minor stuff ).

My 46 Ford coupe will be on the road this year. I'm hoping to get it back from the body shop next month. Put it together and get it inspected/registered sometime this spring.
