  8. Orange county,Ca but plan on moving to Mcdonald,Pa or somewhere close to it..My grandparents live out there plus a couple uncles..I am born and raised in Cali and have not like it since youth..To many people not enough wildlife..all i know is cali and i know ill miss it but in the long run i think its best to leave soon..Never lived in the snow..How would an old 60's chevy truck do out there? Would i need something newer for the winters?I plan on goin on vacation out there in the summer even though winter might be better to give me a taste of wat its like but just started a new job a couple months ago so dont want to take off yet..

Good tires, better brakes, common sense and a couple hundred pounds of weight over the rear wheels and you'll be fine. Find a friend who knows how and an empty snow covered parking lot and practice what to do when you slide/lose traction.

Back in the 60's, 60's pick-up trucks were all we drove :)

PA EVIP, what a pain in the ass, glad I got thru years ago when the process was only a three page reconstruction form. The following year it went to a 21 page reconstruction document. Now it's EVIP. This is one big reason, I won't build another rod until I move to sunny Florida. No such program there.

Considering the number of rods in PA and the number of rod/rodparts manufacturers and resellers there are in PA, you would think the freaking politicians would be a little more aware of the revenue generated by our kind and lighten up on these stupid laws.

If the fuel tank has to be placed like everyone says , then why the hell do all these contractors pick ups with the huge fuel tanks that fill through the top with the fuel crank sitting in the top all exposed with spilled fuel all over the place continue to keep passing inspections every year ? WTF !
It's not like it's only a few but a shit load of them driving all over the state and still they pass state inspection !

Anyway I am in Abbottstown !

    PA GAL JOKE

A PA GAL calls her boyfriend and says, 'Please come over here and help
me. I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get
    started.'

Her boyfriend asks, 'What is it supposed to be when it's finished?'

The PA GAL says, 'According to the picture on the box, it's a rooster.'

Her boyfriend decides to go over and help with the puzzle.

She lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over
    the table.

He studies the pieces for a moment, then looks at the box, then turns to
    her and says,

'First of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to
assemble these pieces into anything resembling a rooster.'

He takes her hand and says, 'Second, I want you to relax. Let's have
    a nice cup of tea, and then ..' he said with a deep sigh, . .. . .. . .. .

From East Pittsburgh, PA (Monroeville area) for today, next week Erie, PA. Meadville, Albion, Crossingville, not sure where I am living yet. All you PA guys up north need to help me find a great shop to help me build my MEL motor. It needs a few corrections Lincoln never got around to fixing. I've got connections in Pittsburgh, but I'm moving!..a few bucks short and out of time. None of my 4 Lincoln's are done, but maybe next year one of my coupe's will be...yaeh right!

Yinz gotta help me out n' nat! (for you Pittsburgh people)
